Biography	Devin Ross has been a member of the Nassau County police Department for 28 years. Prior to that he was trained as an Electronic Technician in the United States Marine Corps. After the Marine Corps Devin worked for the Phone company as a telecommunications technician. In 1997 he joined the Nassau County Police Department. For the last 18 years Devin Ross has been the Commanding Officer of the Departments Electronics Squad. In his role as Commanding Officer, Devin oversees every technical investigation in the county. His office is responsible for Video downloads, Cellular and Computer forensics, GPS installations, overt and covert camera installations, social media investigations, pen register and wiretaps, Cyber Crimes, drone deployments as well as surreptitious entries and countermeasure operations. Devin is a graduate of the FBI National Academy class 244. He is an active member of the FBI’s Law Enforcement Technology Forum and is the current CO Chair of the Technical Intelligence Committee for the Major Cities Chiefs Police Organization.
