Michael Bullock

Michael Bullock is a 7th generation Texan who grew up in Austin and the surrounding area. He spent 12 years in the Texas Legislature serving two State Representatives and working as a legislative director, as well as a nonprofit policy director. A proven organizational leader, he has led multiple nonprofits and served on several boards, transforming underperforming organizations into high-performing, successful operations. Michael joined APD in 2017, became involved with the APA PAC in 2018, was elected to the APA Board in 2020, and became APA President in 2024. He is married to Michelle, has one son, coaches baseball, and is a licensed private pilot.
